TeamXbox has posted a Press Release (http://news.teamxbox.com/xbox/8358/SEGA-Partners-with-Silicon-Knights-for-NextGen-Game/) announcing that Sega will be publishing future titles developed by developer Silicon Knights. No word on if Too Human will be published through Sega or if this is an unannounced title.

SEGA of America and SEGA Europe announced today an agreement to acquire and publish next-generation game content from Silicon Knights, the Ontario, Canada-based development team responsible for such hits as Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, and Eternal Darkness. The partnership brings SEGA more Western-developed content in preparation for high-growth opportunities presented by next-generation hardware platforms.

Under the terms of the worldwide exclusive deal, SEGA and Silicon Knights will collaborate on creating a new franchise for next generation console systems. This agreement, along with recent partnerships with publisher, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment; developer, Monolith Productions; and the acquisition of The Creative Assembly continues to highlight SEGA's emphasis on the Western market.

Does anyone really care about Sega these days? I didn't really think their name carried much clout anymore, but they seem to like to think it does.

They're delusional.

I don't know, some faith was restored with decent showings of Full Auto and Condemned. Pretty interesting 360 titles, we'll see how they turn out.

Erm, this isn't exactly news, since that was announced by the end of March of this year. Anyway, it's good to see SK is getting some good distribution outside Nintendo's second-partydom... after all, that was their reason anyway.

Here's hoping to a Sega-SK game for the Revolution.

So does that mean SK is not exclusive to Xbox360? Just Too Human?

Either way this is good news I guess. Sega has some money left, so hopefully they should be able to give SK the room they need to do their stuff.

There is so much wrong with this sentence that I'll refrain.

Not necessarily. Sega put a lot of Xbox-only titles out there this gen. Not hard to imagine them doing the same next time. SK titles could very conceivably be Xbox 360 only, though I don't know that it should necessarily be assumed at this point.
