Martian Factory has finished the BloodRayne 2 statue and is taking pre-orders. They're on the expensive side ($235CDN), but they're limited to 200 units. Each unit is going to be individually cast in resin and hand painted.

Suckers, I just ordered 200 of them.
Bloodrayne is so great that I couldn't resist. It's the best game evar. It's even better than that guy who walks around in Verizon commercials saying "can you hear me now?" -- man that guy gets my adrenaline pumping. I start jumping up and down whenever he is on the TV saying "HELL YEAH I CAN HEAR YOU, YOUR PHONES ARE AWESOME!!!"
bloodrayne sucks.

If you're looking for a 12" sextoy, I don't want to know how you plan to use it.

They're not going to be worth anything, they're making 198 more units than anyone will ever buy.

What the hell is up with those "pictures" anyways? None of the shots are high resolution, and none of them show the statue from the front. What else could they be trying to hide?

Haha, thanks for the laugh. I've got to try that sometime, in a crowd.
And yes, BloodRayne is the currently poster child for the pseudo-popular, nobody really cares series. She's the new Croft, just a scapegoat for the media and the latest marketing gimmick. Meanwhile, the anti-violence and anti-sex groups eat it up and think we all play the game every day and dream about it every night. Along with the original Doom.

The difference is that Croft sold stuff. The Bloodrayne franchise has never done particularly well in reviews, public opinion, OR sales. So what the hell? Who keeps paying money to shove Bloodrayne stuff into the spotlight?

Game Rankings goes against what you said though...
I've only played the demos of the games, but they weren't that bad either.
Anyway, I can't really think of anyone that would want a $235 statue of a woman who recently cut some tied up woman in half with their entrails laying about in a pool of blood.

I can understand doing a limited production run for a high quality figure IF there was a market for it. But with only 2 games and little publicity, there is no way in hell that 200 units are going to be sold anytime soon, especially with the $235 price tag. By releasing this statue they’re catering to an already limited fan base when they should be using this as an opportunity to gain publicity. I see no reason why we Bloodrayne fans can't have a high quality figure for a reasonable price which could be seen on store shelves everywhere (something like the Star Wars: Unleashed series which goes for $15-$25 each, for incredibly detailed 7" figures). I also would have liked to seen a few figures released (Rayne in her normal outfit and the evening gown, Kagan, Ferril, etc.) and I would rather have a detailed sculpt than something articulate (more of a display item than a toy), but I think that they went a little over the top with the disemboweled torso. That’s just my 1.99 cents.
The BloodRayne games are the equivalent of a popcorn-flick to me. I don't pay to see something overly stimulating, I go to kick back, relax, and just have a mindless good time. I enjoy playing these types of games every now and again simply because it acts as a nice change of pace. A decent rental, if anything, and I think the character actually has some potential to her if properly handled.
But there is no way these things would be worth 235 bucks. Man, I wouldn't even pay that much for a Sephiroth statue. Maybe after the movie hits, these things will cascade in price. Uwe Boll could make any price drop.
