As if you really want to see the schmoe that just kicked your ass in Command & Conquer 3. EA (the large, Borg-like company, not us) was kind enough to enable the Vision Camera (http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2007/1/8/6523) for the 360 version. (http://www.ea.com/commandandconquer//features.jsp?id=xbox)
See the Enemy Before You Crush Them - Using Xbox 360's revolutionary VisionCam technology you can now literally see the face of your opponent while you decimate him in Xbox Live battles. Plus, for the winner, the Spotlight cam gives you an unchallenged ten seconds of fame to let your enemy know exactly how you feel about your victory.
The ten second thing will result in many, many deaths I'm sure.

After Battle for Middle Earth 2, and this anouncement- I am not getting C and C 3. Also note that the team has bogarted a cover method into the game...for some reason.

Another game supports the View-a-Stranger's-Penis feature...awesome!

This is the real reason I'll be sticking with the PC version.

It's odd and a little pointless, but at least they're trying to support the thing. So in that respect I think it's cool. Personally though, I'd like to be able to map my own face onto my infantry. Bring on the clone army!

EA (the large, Borg-like company, not us)That's why I prefer to abbreviate us as EvAv. Less confusion that way.
I have not really liked the look of this version of C&C. But, I hope it is still a good RTS on the box and sells well. It'll be good for the system.

Bring it on, I say! Ten minutes of lame-ass crap followed by ten seconds of infantile shit. Why not?

10 seconds to put em on the glass. Works for me.

I was just thinking the same thing.
Last thing i want to remember about losing the game is some guy flashing his penis while calling me a loser. *laughs*

I don't see one reason to own this camera. I'm sure some people just bought it to get some pointless acheivement points in some games, the only cool feature is putting your face in games like Rainbow Six Vegas. But that isnt worth the money.

In the words of Shawn Elliot; the Live Headset is already the dumbest thing you can put up to your head this side of a shotgun, why do you want to see the people too?

i actually like this idea, gives you more motivation to not lose.

Every time my headset scuttles out from under my 360 and claws it's way up my chest to latch itself onto my head, I try to see through my tears if the Vision cam has once again turned itself on and climbed on top of my TV.
Get over it, children. If you don't like it, don't use it. It's called "disable" for those trembling souls out there.

What live needs is the option for dedicated Team and Friends only chat/video. I get sick of listening to phone conversations, singing, whistling, high pitched voices, breathing, fans, etc. Let me talk to whom I want, and nothing more. And having to navigate 3 menus to mute a jackass is just idiotic.

KG, that's an EXCELLENT suggestion. I wonder if there is a way, only it's buried in the 360's arcane nested blades...

But I know that there are settings so that the only people that you will see with their camera are the ones on your friends list.

Even better, your friends are the only people who can see your "personal" photo, so only THEY can see your hairy coin purse.

Maybe it depends on the game, but R6 makes it very easy to mute someone. I just don't like the idea of excluding any legit Live! players.

I'm pretty sure that's how it already works.

10 seconds is not enough for me to finish masturbating on camera :(

This is disgusting.
I don't see one reason to own this camera.
I use it to video chat with my brother and family in New York.

webcams are practically useless for personal use unless you intend to be part of some porn thing or some type of "love connection". For the most part, people like to remain fairly anonymous when it comes to computers and gaming over the net. The only practical use that I can think of is if you want to call a family member and look at each other. But even that gets old really quick. Just like webcams, I really don't think this xbox camera will find its way into many homes. I mean, I don't even like using the headset half the time when I'm playing with people I don't know. Just play the game and shut up! :D
