Did anyone see the screen shots (http://www.nintendo.com/screenshotgallery?gameid=ad5a45fd-b1c2-403c-970a-9e3ffa35a5b8) for the upcoming Mario Brothers DS game? The game is gonna be friggin sweet. It's back to the Mario game roots.

I was going to submit them to the news, but I saw that the FFXII pics didn't even make it and decided not to try. The 2-D twist with New Super Mario Bros. may be just what the doctor ordered for the DS.

Same here, besides Square has already got the game on NES, Wonderswan, PSX and GBA, I reckon they should port it to Xbox 360 next, lets get some pics of that.

Is it just me or do the backgrounds look a bit too bland? (talking about Mario DS, not FF). They look almost too serene.
