Adding to our Main Menu today are new pages for Wii Friend Codes (http://www.evilavatar.com/index.php?page=wii) and PS3 Network ID's (http://www.evilavatar.com/index.php?page=ps3).

This is in addition to the Xbox Live Leaderboard (http://www.evilavatar.com/index.php?page=leaderboard), where EvAv.com readers are ranked according to Achievement points.

To add yourself to the lists: Click on the Headline Above, then click on UserCP on the Forum Menu, then click on User Profile and add your Xbox Live GamerTag, your Wii Friend Code or PS3 Network ID.

Enjoy!

The "Wii Friend Codes" link in your post goes to the PS3 Network IDs...

I'm no posting guru, but I think that needs to be fixed :p

Wii Friend Codes link goes to PS3 page. Was that on purpose Evil? :p
But awesome. It's nice to have a single database to keep track of these things, if I ever get enough cash to actually buy a Wii or PS3. Or can find one.

Edit: didn't see the above post; wasn't trying to be redundant.

Look above this thread, there's a red bar with some white text. The first thing on it is "User CP". Click on that.

Then, click on "Edit Profile" on the left. Scroll down to the bottom to enter your info.

Save.

Rejoice.

Wii friend code = Stupid.

Would it have been so hard to create a unique user ID with passwords? WOULD IT NINTENDO?

Thanks for the hard work reds. You guys consistently improve the site and make it one of the best places on the internet. Special thanks to one Bad Ass Penguin.

I agree. Nick has been on the ball all day today while the server people have been just useless. First the server was overheating, then they corrupted the database when they fixed it. How do you do that?

I laughed seeing the "six" Ps3 owners on the site.

Dude, I'm shocked at 109 Wii owners already! I didn't know they shipped that many systems.

I keep getting:
" Query failed : User 'boards' has exceeded the 'max_questions' resource (current value: 5000) "
when I click on the links.
Happens on Opera, Firefox 2.0, and IE6.

Yeah we are trying to tweak some things. I'm determined to get this website running in tip top shape.

Righton. Just trying to be helpful (which is why I fired up the "browser barrage"). Once again, we appreciate the work that all of the rednames do for the site.

You are a Warrior of Code, bap. Kick that shit hard.

When I click the PS3 link I get 0 PS3 ID's. I thought this was an error but then I realized 'nope, that's about right'.

Hey, did you guys custom code that, or is that a publicly available vb hack? If it's public, where'd you get it, and if it's private, are you willing to share?

When I click on PS3 IDs (just to see them all) I get a "Couldn't connect to MySQL" error.

The Wii one also seems down, they both give the "Couldn't connect to MySQL" error now.

It's custom but I could send it to you and you could tweak it based on your site. Email me at bapenguin(@)evilavatar.com

There is a HUGE statment made by looking at the Wii codes page compared to the PS3 ID page.

So what am I saying? I guess I am saying "HA HA FUCK YOU SONY!!! I USED TO BE ONE OF YOUR ZOMBIES".......

So many yellows have PS3s. If they can afford a PS3 they can afford to donate ;).

MAN...way to GUILT me into subbing.

:) IT IS DONE.

And dont get me wrong...I know I will eventually get a PS3. But the game that makes me get one will have to have the words "LIFE CHANGING" in the review.

A pretty dumb question, seeing as I own a Wii, but how exactly do I obtain my Wii code? Also, what can I currently do with it? Thanks.

Should be located on the bottom of the console. You can also set yourself up as a Wii Friend by sending an email to yourself from the console. You get the number that way too.

EDIT: That was not a dumb question. Not knowing is not dumb. Refusing to learn, however, is! :) Just ask Sony. ;)

The easiest way is to go to your Wii messages (bottom right icon on the channels menu) and then to the address book (bottom right, again, I think?). Your Wii friend code is on the 'cover' of your address book. Flip back through pages until you hit the cover if it starts on one of the address book pages, but I believe accessing the address book this way will start you out on that cover page, with your Wii friend code staring at you in big bold print.

Took me a while to find it, too. I knew I had seen it somewhere when I was just browsing all the menus when I first got it, but hadn't set up my wireless settings yet. It really should be in the console information section of the Wii settings menu if you ask me. But it's not.
