I liked Dino Crisis a little. But I don't have a PS3, so...
But is it really practical to download a bunch of PS1 games? They must be huge files. How many could you realistically download and save onto the PS3 hard drive before running out of space? On the 20GB not much, but even the 60GB you'd run out of space fast if you downloaded a lot of games.

R-Types and Mr. Driller would be great. I'll snap those up when I can get a PS3, I know that. They need to get off their asses and bring over Silent Bomber, that's been available in Japan since these launched.

Well at least more than the crap titles available in the nintendo virtual console store

I am going with
Rhapsody
Because it was made by Nippon Ichi, and is the precursor to Disgaea, Albeit with a sickeningly sweet esthetic and music based gameplay.

I actually still own that game....

Mr Driller on the DS is kinda fun. Never played the PS1 version, but I'm guessing its pretty much identical.

I forgot to add Mr Driller as well, I never got around to playing that game yet, but it seems like a fun puzzle game.

Dino Crisis wasn't bad.
RTypes? Anything RType is good.
Rhapsody was a neat game.

Something I don't quite understand: Why do you need a ps3 to download games to the psp? Why the middle man? The psp connects directly to the internet, so why not just download it directly?

Since when did the original PlayStation become known officially as the PSOne? I hate that.

yeah, that's probably the onlt title I would care for. mainly because I would like to see some earlier NI work. It was never released in Europe, so I'm guessing it will never hit the DC department now either.

When Sony launched the smaller slim version they started calling it the PSOne.

Yeah, I know that, but it just sucks. What's wrong with calling it the PlayStation?

I don't know Gamespot had their own stores now. I thought they just stuck to writing crappy reviews. Sorry... someone had to say it.
That said, I think a lot of these titles are definitely games I would download onto my PSP. Been tempted to get Hot Shots Golf 2 but I hated the character deisgns in that one as a big fan of the Minna no Golf side of things. If more games are indeed coming here to the states i'll just hold off and wait to see what we get next.
Mr. Driller G would've been a much better choice than the original Mr. Driller, but none will ever top the glory that is Mr. Driller Drill Land on Gamecube.
Dino Crisis i'd downlaod and play again...but what I long for is something like the original Silent Hill. I know they're making a Silent Hill game for PSP but having the original on a portable would be awesome!
As for the guy early on in the thread that worried about the PS games taking up too much room on the HDD: If the LocoRoco demo works the same as these games you have to plug yor PSP into the system to start the download. The PS3 is merely a conduit to the interweb for the PSP, and the PS3's hard drive never sees a copy of the game you download.
At least this is what I've gathered from playing in the Playstation Store... my PSP is never on-hand to try, but maybe I'll do it tonight if I get bored.

I want a remake of SH1 with the Silent Hill 3 engine (or potentially whatever next gen engine they're playing around with atm). It's still a great game but the 3d graphics look very antiquated (resident evil used pre rendered backgrounds on ps1), and a game like SH does actually benefit from the power of the ps2. I love 1-3 but sh4 left a bad taste in my mouth.

Not interested in the titles, but the prices are nice. How about Tactics Ogre or Bushido Blade? Please?

I second the Tactics Ogre nomination, I never got a chance to try that game, on Ps1 or GBA, and I really want to give it a go.

Those are 2 seperate, but still very good, games. The GBA release was the last one we've seen from the Tactics Ogre/Ogre Battle series. :(

I feel exactly the same way!
4 was actually very good in the control and graphics department, and I even liked the whole "room" concept.
What I did NOT like, though, was having to go through each area twice, just to artificially make the game longer than it was. So the second time through we have a gun-toting psycho chasing us and some things are switched around... still felt like konami just quit caring at that point.
