Age of Empires III Website Launches

In other news... Other than E3 that is...

Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/games/) and Ensemble Studio (http://www.ensemblestudios.com) launched the official Age of Empires III website today. The website showcases some never before seen screenshots as well as a short video clip (with the promise of more video clips to come soon).

I'm interested in the exploration of the new continent and the cityscape, not so much the traditional strategy aspect. I hope the singleplayer is boarderless, or at least make the maps huge HUGE.

I hope that video that pops up shows the gameplay with the speed turned all the way up. WAY to fast and way to much damage for muskets.

That is probably the sexiest looking game I've seen in a long time. FPS games may have some nice graphics, but its not often you see those graphics transfered to an RTS.

Makes me want to play LOTR:BFME more, never got around to finishing it.

I don't see how it's too fast. It's about the same speed as Empire Earth II ... and that was a very good speed.

But I'm sure that, like all Age of Empires games, it will have a speed adjustment. There's pretty much no such thing as an Ensemble Studios game with out speed adjustment. :)
