New Revolution Pics

Gametab (http://www.gametab.com/forums/showthread.php?t=526) has some new photos that shed more light on the Revolution. From the looks of it, the system will come in multiple colors and it will contain 4 controller ports for Gamecube controllers and memory cards.

They still might. These ports may just be to allow you to use the Bongos, Dance Pad or your GBA as a controller -- any of the wired peripherals. The new controllers may function as a wavebird still.

Oh, that's the Atari 2600 Cartridge slot. They're still discussing Intellivision support at this point.

I think an 8track is bigger than the entire device.

This must be covering the slots for two SD media cards which Revolution will reportedly accept, and maybe something else in addition to that.

there's prolly 3 knobs under the cover: tint, contrast, and brightness.

those are some seriously hideous colors. What the hell are they thinking. And I don't want any damn neon green either. Why can't they take a look at the colors of the high end entertainment devices these things are going to be sitting next to in our living rooms. Okay, did you see the white, silver and black ones? If none of those match your "entertainment devices", then maybe you'd better exchange your purple jelly vibrator for another toy.

That sound of crickets you hear is the dead buzz around this system. What a joke...they would have been better off sticking with GCN for another couple years. Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves and I, like many fans,am disappointed.

During the News Conference Iwata said that none of the color stuff was decided yet, and showed that picture to give examples of colors they were considering. Then he said something like: "Maybe you can tell us what color you want it to be?"
