Lemmings Screens [PSP]

Sony has announced the classic PC title Lemmings will make it's way onto the PSP. The game is being developed by Team 17 and will feature downloadable content. Boomtown (http://ps2.boomtown.net/en_uk/articles/art.view.php?id=8213) has the screenshots for you.

Seriously... if you're going to do Lemmings, do it on DS. I can't imagine the Lemmings games did very well on consoles, trying to move around frantically and select lemmings with precision via D-Pad never felt right.

I think Lemmings makes more sense on the ds, what with the touch screen, although one could argue that the psp's wide screen makes it better. Both have advantages for that game. Worms, though, would be way better on the psp, due to the wide screen.

If there was a GOOD DS Lemmings game... I might just have to buy a DS.

Lemmings has SO MANY fond memories for me. It's like another Commander Keen, or Jazz Jackrabbit, in that it's one of the very first games I can remember playing.

Plus, Lemmings is one of the few truly timeless game designs.

Man, multiplayer worms on the PSP would be awesome! I absolutely loved Worms Armageddon on the PC, too bad the damn thing refuses to run in windows xp.

Damnit I said last week I wanted this for DS! Sure this looks like the most beautiful version of lemmings ever but the wider screen just means more space to trudge the cursor around with the dpad.

I love Lemmings, but lets get some original levels. I recognize a bunch of those screens. It's no good if you can remember how to solve all the puzzles in one try.

PSP would be great because of its widescreen, DS would be great because of the stylus and the use of the bottom screen to select your lemming type.

Lemmings sucks. It was great when it came out a zillion years ago, then went to shit after the first sequel.

Worms, on the other hand, gets better and better with each itteration.
