GameTrailers has posted some new high-quality gameplay footage (http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=13658&type=mov&pl=game) from Assassin's Creed, as shown at X06.
A must-see. Now I understand what all the fuss is about...

Looks like the game is still a little buggy, but i can't WAIT for it. I'm sure they'll work out all the kinks before it's released.

Not new by my standards (having seen it on the net a month ago iirc)

This is an old video, but it was great to see it again :)

Yep old. But the detail is still amazing. Still think the AI (when you try to hit the guy and the guards don't even notice) is a bit crap. But that will be improved I'm sure.

It's old, but the quality is much better than before.
Can't wait for this game.

Like everyone else said, this video was released in September.
Looks fun though.

After recent Ubisoft games, I have little hope they'll bother fixing the bugs before release.

Your right, they are not doing to do anything at all for the next year.
This game is a year away.
This title is truly shaping up to be amazing. I cannot wait.

My head is fucking pounding, at what point did the folks in theis thread NOT hear the lady mention this is a freaking "Alpha" build. This is why E3 had to die.

And given recent Ubisoft games I'm sure it'll still have a lovely sampling of bugs. I'm just one of those nutjobs who goes by past experience rather than wishing upon a star.

BTW, I suggest you check out the development diary movie as well. An interesting part about why Altier is missing a finger on his left hand.

Title is very misleading.
Video is old, and I am disappointed.
Boo submitter.

Michel Ancel: Well, you see Altier was feeding his pet Rabbid one day....

Was the first time I'd seen this, and I have to say it was absolutely gorgeous. Granted, I think the crowd AI seemed a little week, but definitely better than I've seen in any OTHER game. (And there's very few that have ever had any meaningful crowd interaction that I can think of.) Also, I think it was kind of silly for the hero to run THROUGH 5 or 6 guards.
Still, as was noted at the beginning of the presentation, it was an alpha build, which means they have plenty of time yet to tweak and improve things such as the AI, the graphics pop-in, and the frame rate drops. I have lots of positive anticipation for the game; we'll see if it's realized or not a year or so from now.

Wow, another impressive 360 title, graphically and in game play. I'm beginning to think more and more that the Wii isn't going to be enough to satisfy my gaming needs, especially not on a graphical level. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but the 360 is looking like the system to make my entertainment system complete.

Isn't this game due in march? Not a year, so to speak... I'm impressed though.
I'm hoping you can go more in depth as to how you kill them and your escape route, etc. I like the whole planning before you kill thing. It makes the actual deed so much sweeter when you plot and plan.

I swear this video is pretty old. I think a Ubi shill first brought it up. MmmHmmmMMmm, sweet sweet Jade.

Wow.. first time I've seen it and I'm impressed. Couple more killer titles like this and I'm going to fork over my money for a 360. (even though I don't have HD set yet.. :( )
Assassin Creed, Dark Sector, Mass Effect, and Bioshock are really starting to get to me. ;)

And people still have to think about getting a 360? I mean sheesh...

This game is not exclusive though, so yeah they can still think about it.

Yeah I gotta think about it.. to get the full potential of the 360 you need a HDTV.. so the $400 is really $2500+ and I have to upgrade my DirectTV Tivo box to HD so that's $800 + the service charge every month.. its a HUGE investment all around..
and I hate pads for FPS'ers..

never seen this video... anyone got links to newer ones?
this might be my "killer app" for the 360. i'll cave for an HDTV and x360 for this game.

I have not joined the HD revolution, mostly because I live in a dorm room. Which means I have neither money nor space, but this game is the one I'm buying a new system for. Which system? Well I know Ubi makes most cross compatible, but I'm thinking 360 may save me a bit of cash w/ out sacrificing the whole next gen look.
