New Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Screenshots

Still can't wait to see more about this game during E3.

The screens don't seem to do it justice after watching the video. The game looks great but when you actually watch it in motion it really looks amazing.

I've re-installed Morrowind and finally started giving it a good playing and it's great. My only complaint is that it is just so darn DRAB. There is next to no color other than "brown" in this game. My guess is they were using an unregistered shareware paint program that only had 3 colors active. I'm very happy to see the wide array of colors in Oblivion so they must have registered it finally.

We need more games like this--First person adventure with open ended game play. You know, like an MMOG only without the mothly fee and all the 12 year olds.

But come on... these models look worse than a guy in a rubber suit from the Godzilla/Ultraman/B&W TV show of your choice. I've yet to see a screenshot that didn't have a model totally out of whack with it's surroundings. I had hoped it would get better.

Fair enough, But "highly disappointed" seems like overkill. Perhaps.."A bit disappointed with the characters".

because...it was a prison island Ah! That’s right, I must have forgot that somewhere between reading all the books in the land and becoming head of the Knights guild. A lot of freedom there for a prison, but those dust storms are a killer. Still I'm glad there's more in this game than dirt, dust and bramble.
