Novalogic updated on their website (http://www.novalogic.com/) that a demo for their remake of the original Delta Force Game is available for download. The demo includes a single player called "Flood", and a multiplayer level which is a snow based map with drivable vehicles. The game type supported is Team King of the Hill.

Well, I for one am excited by this. Some of the best LAN parties I ever went to involved the original Delta Force... man, that game was good for irritating your friends.

In fact, we finally had to institute a rule that if you snuck up behind someone and were going to knife them, you had to shout out "Check six!" before you did the deed. Heh, good times.

But Varsity is right about one thing, Xtreme?!? I mean... can we PLEASE get past this nonsense of marketing departments slapping that word on everything hoping for... I don't even know anymore. How much money do they think skater kids have anyway?

Well I LOVED THE ORIGINAL DF!

Nova dropped the ball on this one for sure. The distribution on this game was horrible.
None of my regular haunts had the item in stock or knew when they might have it. I finally picked it up at Best Buy in Minneapolis.

As for the game I'm not exactly understanding how it's a redux of the first Delta Force.
it appears the maps are new and the SP part of the game is new. Also adding the word Xtreme shows how far out of touch the Nova guys are. I'll be at E3 tomorrow
if any one from Nova is there I'll be sure to share how much we all love the Xtreme thing. Delta Force 1 Redux?

Well from what i know, the game is supposedly based off the best of the best missions from the first game. If i remeber correctly they had like what? over 70 missions. Maybe time is playing tricks on you.

That is so possible. I keep wandering around the maps trying to decide if I remember this and that. I played under the nick Lt. Satan and compiled something like 5000 online kills. Now at age 46 I have to live with the fact that I just forget shit. :(

I am so tired of sites being gobbled up by the "pay for instant downloads" stuff... I really, really hate it. Ever since 3DGamers was absorbed by the Gamespy network bad things have happened to them. :(

Wow this game blows. I haven't seen Novalogic create such crap in a long time.
It looks exactly like Joint Operations (which isn't a bad thing -- it looks good) but the physics are horrible... Unbelievably bad.
I can run and gun with a M249 SAW and accurately shoot targets 100 yards away with it while looking down the sights. The only person I know of who could do that was Superman. Last time I checked, this game wasn't about Superman.

This game absolutely blows. Don't go near it. Get Joint Operations and play that instead.

The game is pretty fun and brings back ALOT of cool memories of playing it the first time. My only two problems with it is the color-changing cursor/ping noise when you kill someone (the first was better in that you had to do your own spotting to determine if you made a kill shot) and the inability to change the magnification of the sniper scopes (they claim they did this for balance issues in multiplayer). Oh, make that three things, the third being the drastically reduced weapon ranges.
