When they said they werent upgrading the graphics really i wasnt expecting much, but from what these screen shots indicate things are looking very nice.

Maybe not a Battlefield killer, but still one of my alltime favourites. I still remember how you could scale the draw distance to insane details (at the cost of performance). Wish I could find my OFP discs to see how it looks on my new system.

No kidding... this doesn't look top notch, but it's certainly well within acceptable, and definitely WAY WAY better than I recall OFP looking. My interest may be rising...

OFP's engine is incredibly scaleable. Not even next gen hardware can run that beast with all options set to max. Then again, it wasn't optimized for that in the first place.

These screens look great. Better than VBS1 even, which I thought was a good indication of what OFP2 would be. They just better keep the same scale as OFP.

Anyone hear they possibly changed the name of OFP to Armed Assault?

Please come out soon. OFP is easily one of the games I put the most time into.

Armed assault is either a tagline for OFP2 or a seperate project by BIS. Codemasters is still claiming to be releasing OFP2 in 2006
