T2X (http://www.thief2x.com/), or Thief 2 Expansion, is a 13-mission "by the fans for the fans" expansion for the original Looking Glass Studios game. 5 years of heartwarming perseverance and dedication ensures that the quality is on par with the original.

A short message from the team:

"Finally, this day has finally arrived!"

The first words that are spoken by Zaya couldn't be more appropriate for our last as we move from development to release. After five years of solid work and hard effort, five years of amazing support from the community, we hope you'll enjoy stepping into Zaya's shoes and living her tale of survival and revenge in the corrupt shadows of the City.

The entire team would like to thank the community for the support you've given that has allowed us to release one of the largest fan-made expansions any game has ever seen. I was starting to give up hope.

Looks great. I can't wait to try it out. Now where did I put those Thief 2 discs...

I think it's appropriate to note that this is not some piddly little "expansion pack" - this is a full game, cinematics, storyline, etc., as long as the original Thief 2, according to the devs.

Holy crap. This looks awesome. Thief 2 was perhaps one of the best games I have ever played. I love the series to death, and this seems to be keeping in its spirit. I can't wait to download it and try it out!

And so many props to the perseverance of the team who put this together.

Now, like screwtape said...where are my Thief 2 discs?

unfortunatly, i was never into thief, had it once and played it a few times at my friends. Now i want to know which thief game should i start off with? 1, 2, 2's expansion pack.

1, definitely. Not just from a continuity standpoint, but because it's excellent and you'll have a total blast playing it.

Wow... That is absolutely KILLER!! The Thief games are some of my all time favorites. I rarely play through a game more than once, but both Thief 1 and 2 I did several times.

I wish I had half the work ethic of this team! Congratulations and I hope some game company gets smart and hires you guys for a TON of money...
