New Perfect Dark Zero screenshots have finally arrived! The four never before seen Screens haven been taken on an old build of the game, but they're still wonderful. Enjoy the images here (http://www.gamona.de/index.php?sektion=suche&game=1175&show=screenshots).

I don't agree with you, sTubbs. The first few shots look gorgeous. If those are in game, then that's pretty impressive. Besides, you haven't seen it in motion. Sure the last few (which were also in a previous post) looka bit rough, but the newer ones aren't anything to scoff at.

I still prefer Perfect Dark on 64.
Best.
FPS.
EVER.

I have the feeling that some of the people posting on this site are Sony Operatives. There is no way they can actually believe what they are saying or expect anyone else with half a brain to either.

Anyone who states that the Xbox (or even 1st gen ps2 games as one suggested) can display 20+ character models that close in proximity, that many plants with such complicated leaf structure, that many hair strands or such rounded backgrounds and still run at 60fps has an agenda.

I'm not saying its the best graphics the 360 has to offer, but there's still quite a bit of time for them to clear it up.

Wang, I have a feeling that some people posting on this site are Fanboys and can't look objectively at the screens that they've given us for PD0. Frankly, the only people with a half a brain are the people who are awed by graphics that were on the X-box a year ago. In all honesty, what I've seen so far is just unimpressive. Its not ugly or horrid or anything like that, but its certainly not something worth all the hype its been given.

I'm hoping that these shots are in no way representive of the actual game, but if they are, then PD0 will be filed under "Extreme Dissapointment for Graphics" upon its release. Now, perhaps it has killer AI, incredible sound, and insane gameplay upon its release, but we can't tell that from screenshots. That means graphics are the only thing we can comment on, and from what has been shown to us, the graphics are, as I've said, unimpressive.

You are right about the texture detail, but it's possible that they traded detail for level size. Consider that you don't know that there's not some sort of scaling for texture detail either... that object is kind of far away. Also, as I understand it, anti-aliasing will be standard on all xbox 360 games. Look at the third shot... notice the lighting in it. If that's dynamic and it can smoothly suport as many dynamic lights as in the second shot, well then... that's ridiculous.

I hope they switch out the Joana Dark model for the one seen in recent promo material. It seems like they can't decide on a visual style. It's just so weird to see this pretty realistic looking (cg) model on the cover and promo stuff but the in game model is some cracked out anime chick.

The graphics look fine but the style is a little meh. We'll see at E3.

These look much better, but probably still aren’t final. The others looked terrible and should have never been released. You might not like Rare games but they’ve never made a bad looking one.

Well, they did say these were from an older build. Maybe someone decided to reconsider the "sexified" model they were using there.

Well, the top four screens are impressive. The others, not so much. I'm going to pretend the rest of the screens aren't real.

Any indictation just how old the build is that these new shots are from? They look considerably prettier. Artistically and graphically.

If you read the article where those first ghastly shots originated from, on 1UP, it states they're looking at it running off of alpha dev kits which lack the final graphics card and one of the CPUs. I'm betting they were in more of a playtesting phase, working on level flow and overall feel, holding out on a full fledged dev kit before pushing the graphics.

Ok, those new shots up at the top of the page are more in line with my expectations.

Finally some nice looking shots. I hope they clean up the character design for Joanna though. Why is it that all female special agents dress like cyber-hookers?

Hmmm. If PD0 looks like that, why did they showcase such a shitty looking game on MTV?

Anyway, those are still not up to, say, Unreal 3-powered stuff, but they do look quite nice. Not amazing, but more than passable, which is all I need, given good gameplay.

I am happy to eat my words, in this case. Those original screenies were ugly-a-fied, but these latest ones are quite decent. Hooha.

The only thing that I care about now for Perfect Dark Zero is the 50 person deathmatch

Why not show these instead of the piles of shit from the last lot?

And Dave PD ingame art and PD promo art have always been completely different.

This style didn't look that bad. Kinda cute, kinda bad ass.: :)

Then this shows up and gets my hopes up: :D

Which I assume is also this model but more "in game" looking.

Recently we saw this:

WOAH What the heck happened?

And then this:
http://www.gamona.de/images/upload/screenshots_full/708_23185.jpg

They took the ho'ed out version and made it shiny.

I'm hoping the more realistically proportioned model makes it into the final.

I miss the original:

Honestly, I just want to see this in motion. I can't wait till E3.

They had to make her Xtreme enough for the Xbox.

In scifi action settings, almost always female special agents dress like hookers.
