Do people still get excited over games based on movies?

Coincidently, the last good movie based game was the brawler for SNES based on batman returns. That game was tons of fun.

Wasn't Chronicles of Riddick a good game? I never played it (or watched the movie) but I heard good things.

Riddick was fantastic. I'd own it now (I rented it before,) if I wasn't suspicious that the Developer's Cut might suddenly appear for the XBox.

And I can't see the trailer. Screw MTV.

I refuse to give MTV any bandwidth, so therefor I will simply post in this thread about my distaste for MTV, my hope for videogames based on movies (Riddick!) and my love for Batman.

Don't forget Spiderman. I don't know if X-Men legends counts, but that's a good game, and has it shares voice actors with the movie, so it's kinda based on it.

It shows gameplay, and it's actually a really decent trailer. I didn't like the shots I've seen too much, but this video got me interested in the game.

As an arrogant Mac owner, I refuse to associate with anyone who would sink as low as mtv.com anyway. So apparently not.
