SplinterCell.com (http://www.splintercell.com/) has an announcement of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory DS (http://www.splintercell.com/uk/newspost.php?id=11019) up, including a list of features and some screenshots.
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell ®Chaos Theory™ DS additional features:
All the new moves and gadgets of the console versions released in March but with the addition of the SWAT TURN.
The Touch Screen technology allows players to manage the inventory, choose between three visions modes and maneuver the camera.
The Wireless Communication of the Nintendo DS will be intensely used for the multiplayer modes:
Cooperative mode for two players with five levels to explore. Each player can choose between two Shadownet expertises: Assault or Hacker.
Versus mode for two to four players with seven maps available. The Versus mode places you in a war of Shadownet Spies against Argus Mercenaries. While Spies try to hack computer devices to steal important information, Mercenaries must patrol and guard these stations.
What? How is this going to work?

Well, I find most games work by putting them into their slot on said device, then pressing "power". But I'm just old-fashioned like that.

The screenshots look SWEET for this. I can't wait.

When I clicked on that, I was like "yeah, right, whatever, it's gonna be another side-scroller GBA game with some touch stuff added".

but then it looked really sweet. i'm excited.

I don't follow... nothing here seems unreasonable.

Looks very nice, awesome that they've managed to port the console game experience to a handheld.

I don't think the DS controls are particularly suited to third-person stealth. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong.

Impressive. With this and Goldeneye, June is shaping up to be a good month for the DS.

I'm looking forward to June, too. Isn't Meteos coming out that month, too?
