Worthplaying (http://www.worthplaying.com/) has the details and screenshots (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=25421&mode=thread&order=0) regarding the announcement of new maps for the PC and Xbox versions of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. The new maps consist of one new Versus map that's due at end of May and two new Co-op multiplayer maps that are slated to follow shortly after.

It's nice to see Ubisoft's giving a bit back to it's fan/customer base.

Wooo!

Nice to see them supporting the co-op gamemode, that is fun stuff.

Boo hoo. If you can't afford a few bucks, then get a job.

New Co-Op maps? That's sweet!

I was afraid they would end up only releasing versus levels.

Chaos Theory has 4 co-op maps, 4. And only 1 is remotely replayable.

They overstated the co-op mode. I'd be mad if they didn't release more.

Hey, I don't even own or like the game but I'd be pissed too, regardless of price. Brainwashed console gamers might be okay with paying for a map, but PC gamers usually don't go for that kind of stuff.
When's the last time you saw a PC game that charged for a map or update? (obviously not including expansion packs, those are BIG updates).

That's probably why it's free on Xbox. Since it's coming out for PC too, they can't very well charge on one platform and not the other.

They're mini expansion packs, which the service technology facilitates and makes easy, and they are priced as such. Just because you can't wrap your mind around the idea doesn't mean no one else can.

Now if they'd just update the co-op network code on the xbox so it doesn't disconnect you every time you shoot a guard.....

Shame Co-op on the PC still only works less than a quater of the time, at least in Europe. :(
