Anyone know if the MTV 360 special is 9:30 EST (6:30 pacific), or if it's 9:30 in all time zones? Is MTV on a time-zone delay?

Also, is it on again anytime soon? I can't be home at 6:30, so I'm gonna miss it because I forgot to set the fucking VCR.

5 dollars. I'm cheap, but not dumb. Pay for your ISP (Adelphia in my case) pay for Live just to connect to your ISP, and then pay for downloadable content that I have to get through Live, which i pay for, and thus through Adelphia, which i pay for.

Hey look, a 3-way fucking!!!

You could just NOT BUY IT, which is probably the best way to show your displeasure.

I really don't understand why people feel they should be 'entitled' to new, free content. Most developers, when they finish one project, move on to another one. If the choices are make free stuff for their customers or get paid to make NEW stuff for an upcoming game, the choice HAS to be to get paid. Developers have families, you know.

I've bought a couple of things over Live so far, and haven't been disappointed yet, though neither of the packs I paid for was in the Mechassault games. I don't play them enough to warrant a purchase of extra content.

I haven't been displeased with any content purchase I've made either - mainly because I buy only for games that I really want more content for.

If you aren't interested enough in it, don't buy it.
If you want it, buy it.
If you want it and the $5 is a problem... follow BabyJesus's advice.

Hey buddy, I have a job. A good one. This isnt about that--it's about practicality. I feel the same way about buying a new car only to get shafted with paying for incredibly high registration fees each year. I get asked whether my car has leather interior, a sunroof, electric seats/windows, and all that other bullshit (the answer is yes to all) and I have to pay more to register my vehicle because of it. Does that make sense? Does it?

I'm just perturbed. I just fear the worst out of life: like videogame downloadable content costing money becoming the norm. It stems from my PC gaming background...where most everything is free. You support your customers by giving them more fun schwag, and thus draw in more fans. Like Blizzard--prime example. It hasnt hurt companies to keep their fans happy with free junk--in fact, it helps. But most PC gamers know that this is silly and laugh at people who pay for d/lable content. We're used to being pampered. The consoles are a much different ballgame, in this and other regards.

I just fear that this acceptance to throw money away will only make the small blemish turn into a festering boil. Call me a pessimist for the future of videogaming.
