Welcome to Evil Avatar, tonight we have two nice slabs of Evil Avatar Radio (http://www.evilavatarradio.com) served steaming fresh for you. First off, please check out our interview with comic writer/artist Tim Seeley (http://www.evilavatarradio.com/audio/EAR.Interview.Tim.Seeley.mp3). Seeley is the brains behind the great Image one-shot (soon to be sequelized) Loaded Bible: Jesus vs. Vampires as well as the Devil's Due series Hack/Slash, which explores a favorite film genre of Evil Avatar: slasher flicks. Check it out at the link above, on Odeo (http://odeo.com/audio/2349382/view), or on iTunes, and stay tuned for a giveaway of some issues of Hack/Slash in our comic threads!
But wait! The interview was just the appetizer! Make sure you stick around for Episode 35 (http://www.evilavatarradio.com/audio/EAR.Episode35.mp3) of Evil Avatar Radio! This is a mini-episode where we just did a news recap, but it DOES feature both Spigot AND Pseudopseudo. This episode features astounding discussions on such varied subjects as:
-Xbox TV/movie downloads!
-the Castlevania movie!
-Electronic Arts making SEQUELS?!
-Resistance bumps PS3's friends system!
-DC's biggest writers move towards new mystery projects!
-Sony screws Japan and Europe even harder!
Basically, it's all around good fun. Get it and enjoy it at the download above, on Odeo (http://odeo.com/audio/2366258/view), or again via iTunes. And remember that in addition to listening live, episode of Evil Avatar Radio can be heard every Wednesday on the All Games radio network (http://www.allgames.com) (which is unfortunately suffering from some minor techincal issues right now, but all should be well soon!), along with a number of other fantastic shows.
Coming up on Evil Avatar Radio: We'll be recording Episode 36 tomorrow night, so stay tuned to Evil Avatar for info on how you can tune in LIVE. Also watch out for the release of our Comic Book Roundtable: 52 Edition some time this weekend along with our interview with Stieg Hedlund. Some interesting stuff coming up next week as well, and I'll be needing YOUR help, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!

One a real Canadian, and the other doing a faux Canadian accent. Can you tell the difference? ;)
Edit: Oh, and as a public service to everyone else in the world who'll be confused when it's mentioned:

Format? That doesn't sound too friendly. What was the deal there?
Soooo... did I miss the Gods and Heroes interview?
No. As I said in the above post, the Stieg Hedlund interview should be posted this weekend along with our comic book roundtable AND the announcement of the Gods and Heroes beta spot winners. :)

One of my many stories. I ordered the Collector's Ed of Company of Heroes, in a typical bout of stupidity from EB they sold me a normal one. Take it back, they said the CEs are late and will be here next week.
3 weeks later, they finally call, so down my father goes (recluse) and he gets the one in shrink wrap (two arrived). Odd wrapping I thought, I removed and installed the game. All went well, I played it, fun fun fun (really fun), turned off the computer for the night (well morning by my hours).
Go to turn it back on, freezes at startup, I mean not even past the XP loading screen. Windows got corrupted, yay. Rather then make things worse I figured I'd get it fixed by a professional, this was my second (yes second) mistake.
Very distracting sex scene on TV... oh yes. Anyway, rather then fix it he just installed Windows XP again making a pig's breakfast of everything, but it worked... actually not really but it looked like it worked.
So with PC returned, I chanced Company of Heroes again because it really is good, only now it won't install, at all, the installer keeps dropping into "Not Responding" and basically fucking up. So I turn the disc over and find the surface to something akin to Deadpool's voice, gravel and gasoline, I've never seen anything like it. My first mistake was trusting EB wouldn't sell me a returned (I knew the shrink wrap was weird) product so defective it killed my computer.
Only it ran perfectly well last time, why not this time? There was something else up, so I ran my spyware/malware scans. They found keygens for XP and Office, I don't even have Office. The professional had not only made a mess reinstalling Windows, he'd done so with a cracked XP.
So I got myself a $200AU external HDD, copied over everything important (it's a wonderful device by the way) then formatted. Mistake three came in the form of forgetting the XP key isn't with the disc but attached to my old PC, which is now downstairs. Considering this was 3am I couldn't exactly go running about the house freely. So next day I got the key, formatted again (another 3 hours) since XP had half installed the previous night, then proceeded to go about restoring my computer to normal function.
During this time the shitty disc for CoH was replaced, it's since been reinstalled and very happily running. It's been tested to see if it killed Windows again, but knowing my luck it'll die again tomorrow anyway.

Holy crap, that is a wild story, man. Hope the computer's okay now. And from what I hear, Company of Heroes makes it fairly worth it.

Heh, no worries. :) Looking forward to getting the Hedlund interview out finally!

It is and my computer is running better then ever oddly enough, I guess not installing all that shit you get with your sound/video/everything else card will do that.

Yeah, a good format tends to clean up the system nicely. My computer could use that about now. Maybe over winter break

Just get an external HDD and copy everything over. Including every dlable program you can think of that you'll need, like media players and so on. Installs at the speed of god damn light that way.
