See, some people think this game doesn't seem different or original but if you ask me it's one of the most original concepts recently in MMOs in terms of story and setting. Does it seem like it's going to try anything completely and utterly new? Not really, but then again WoW doesn't do anything new and there are people playing that game in droves... why? Because it's just done WELL.

I'm just hoping this is the Sci-Fi fan's WoW, essentially. I'm a dreamer, yeah.

Agree'd.

I think the Sci Fi genre could definately use some help. I mean, it took AO how many years to find their stride. I think the genre could definately use the help of a developer heavyweight like Mythic. Least, it's not wizards and hobbits right?

Hope they show this at E3 and yes I agree with previous posts, Mythic does have the experience in MMO market. Will it be a fun game? Who knows? But I'm keeping my eyes open.

Well with the website being changed recently I can only assume they've been preparing for E3. Considering this game is planned for a summer '06 release this E3 would be an important one for them to build an audience on.

Agree'd.

I'll be at E3 this year, so I'll be sure to stop by the booth and give you guys the update. See if this thing really pans out.

That second screenie has a bit of a Warhammer 40k feel to it.

Indeed. Only MMORPG I have played at any length was City of Heroes. I'm tired of swords-and-sorcery fantasy. Even a great game in that setting turns me off, though I may play the game anyway (but it's gotta be REAL good).
