Not much information about the size of the games or whether or not GBA games will be forthcoming as well.

The funny thing is, I can't remember the last time anything about the DS cropped up. I don't intend to buy either so don't go jerking any knees, but the PSP has unquestionably got the 'iPod factor'.

I think due to the price the DS is still a tiny bit more on the minds of consumers than the PSP, but prices change over time, don't they?
What will really be a big moment in the handheld war is Nintendo announcing an updated GBA SP. Something like that might force Sony to lower the price on the PSP.

I think GBA emulation being in the future is a given, considering the GBA was capable of emulating the SNES. Pretty nice they got an emulator running just a few days after the first bootable code, now if only they could figure out how to get these things running on PSPs with the 1.5 update. (read: American)

You can already do that with a bit of fiddling. Wipeout Pure contains a fully featured web browser.

No, you can't run this on a 1.5 American PSP. Not with a browser, not any other way. They're working on it.
And people, really... let's not start the "ZOMG... when can it run GBA, N64, PSX" etc etc etc. They haven't got /anything/ working on 1.5 yet, 1.0 simply does not have any real protection. This emulator is incredibly alpha and has no sound. It's really just neat for the fact that they got it out in under a week of the first 'Hello World'. Things will really move once 1.5 is opened.

I already do occasionally through the Wipeout Pure browser....it's slow as hell though since it's not optimized for handheld platforms.

I think zyzyx ment to quote DeadPixel, saying that you /can/ in fact browse EvilAvatar.
I don't think he meant to quote EmoryM.
Hopefully.
