EA has now announced it's line-up for the E3 gaming expo. While that's usually just a list of the traditional E3 franchises, this year's list is different as it includes the first two next-gen console games: Godfather and Need for Speed Most Wanted. Check out the full list including platforms here (http://pc.boomtown.net/en_uk/articles/art.view.php?id=8140).
The interesting part is they specifically say "a next-gen console" and release dates are this fall. So only Xbox 360.

Battlefield 2 is the only game on that list I could see myself buying.

Black is all that interests me on this list. The rest is sadly what we've all come to expect from Electronic Arts - rehashes and big name licenses.

NFS: Most Wanted is a given and The Godfather could be good. Ill buy them used though.

Black is the only thing I'm excited about. That looks very good indeed.

EA will be crushed by its own weight. Much like a sun collapsing into a blackhole

Actually EA has bid in to buy the sun from what I've heard. They are coming up with a way to charge people for the use of the sun via a atomic subsystem that's being developed by some company they bought out recently (some no-name developer named NASA I think).

In other news, Microsoft is buying the moon. Microsoft will of course have to license the EA's Sun's light or face being sued for Moonlight.

EA's games excite me not at all. Criterion's I am interested in. Bastards.

Me too. It has been shown at the last two E3s, but only behind closed doors to the press who must have been sworn to secrecy. I say that because everything I have read concerning that game makes it sound like some massive revolution. Although the writers are trying to sound vague, it is easy to get the impression that they are positively bursting at the seams with revelations that they wish they could reveal. I really hope that some more concrete information is made public this year, and I am sure it will be considering the game is being developed for the current generation.

The only game coming from anything near EA that I'm interested in is 'Spore'... It doesn't seem like thats being shown at E3 though.
