Good to see that you do not have to pay full price for Gothic 3, I am waiting on the US release though. I would pick up Prince of Persia if it was not already on GameTap (it is one I missed). How is Stronghold Legends?

gothic 3 is a good game, but even after two patches, still pretty buggy. And really, really loves 2gb of ram. So if you need to wait....wait.

US version for me. I want to order it badly but just have to wait. I need it to be patched, and proper, by the time it reaches me.

Sorry if this post makes no sense, I am extremely drunk. I haven't drank in a few months and that Paulener is doing the trick.

My understanding is that there is some small difference in the opening cinematic, but the game itself is entirely the same between UK and US releases. Like others have said, waiting for the US release is just waiting for patches included on the disc.

Gothic 3 is a big steaming pile of wrong at the minute. It's gonna need a lot of patches. Not just bug fixing patches but also some sort of patch that adds the fun.
The game's a crushing disappointment for me. It's easy to not pay too much attention to the actual game when it's such a mess but it runs pretty fine on mine and it Just Isn't Fun.

that will just be the 2 patches that are out now. That will just save you a step when you install and then download the 3rd patch that I'm sure will be out on the same day the US release comes out.
