Anyone planning to buy PES6 on 360 - be warned - Konami have gimped it severely...

All edit modes (except for player edit) have been removed, there's 8 instead of the regular 40 stadiums, and no Bundesliga (or noname equivalent) - you can't even save goals - and that's been doable since PS1....

Of course - they didn't do an xbox version this year to "focus" on gimping the 360 version....If you've been looking at getting into this series - and don't want to deal with the horrendous loading times of the PS2 - I strongly recommend buying PES5
for Xbox instead of this slapped together gimped piece of garbage ...480p isn't quite as pretty as the HD PES6 version - but there's a hell of a lot more in there...like twice as much...

Just thought I'd vent my frustration somewhere. My favourite (and easily most played) game series of the last 5 years has been crippled - and MS's "we own football" statement looks like a cruel joke.....

They are taking 360's back for PS2's all over Europe (check out the rage on Pesfan.com) - and this is not going to be a system seller, rather a "I'll take the full version thankyou".

I had no intention of buying a PS3 in it's first year - but if the next WE drops in Japan for PS3 early next year - they fix up this half-baked rushed to production atrocity - and the PS3 regional encoding is nada - I'll pay any amount for Sony's grillmachine.

Are you hearing me Konami? MS?

You can guarantee that half the copies of this game sold are to people for whom it's a system seller (absolute diehards) - who are now thinking twice about their system purchase...

this game was leaked about a week ago according to wikipedia. if you aren't much of a person who has lots of people coming over to play against you, i strongly recommend you get the PC version.

1. 1 v 1 is awesome on PC as long as you have a decent screen, plenty of space and two game controllers.
2. The PC version has a very large fan base on the internet where several mods are released often. Rosters are updated as well by fans.

My staple weekend/postwork 4P party games/tournaments just aren't gonna happen on the PC...and I'm also one of those "reformed" PC gamers who really can't be done investing all the time and money to keep active in the PC gaming market (my laptop cost more than twice what my 360 did after I bought the 360 - and would crash for most new games)

(And patches are readily available for all editable versions - that is all up to now - of PES on all consoles except for the 360 - as I've been a big supporter)
