Another week, another uneventful Weekly Release. There really isn't much to get excited about this week. Gamecube owners get the original and fun Donkey Konga 2. On DVD we have The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. And that's about it, not too much else.

Donkey Konga 2 is fun, but far from original; aside from the obvious fact that it's just like its predecessor, the whole series was made by Namco as a slight modification on their Taiko franchise. You want fun and original, you pick up DK Jungle Beat.

Haunting Ground is worth a rental, I'd say.

In The Groove probably won't come out this week, but dancing game fans who've already got the DDR games will probably be excited about it when it DOES hit. I know I am.

Played the demo of Donkey Konga. Got sick of it real quick. Not nearly as fun as the actual music game.

Alone in the Dark is an unintentionally hillarious movie. Another of Boll's gems. Give it a rental, but make sure you are in a room packed with friends with a sense of humor.

I really hope Restricted Area's release date doesn't get bumped this time. I've been waiting for a good coop game for a while, and Dungeon Lords is still a bit too buggy to play for long.
