Phantasy Star Universe for 360 Delayed 1 day

The Xbox 360 version of Phantasy Star Universe which was supposed to be released today, has been delayed, while the PS2 and PC versions have shipped as planned. Both EBGames.com and Gamestop.com have reflected this change in release date, and according to a post at PSO-World.com a GameStop corprate email was sent that claimed that PSO:U for 360 was "delayed by the vendor, and copies won't reach stores until Thursday."

Update: According to IGN (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/741/741434p1.html) all versions shipped today.

Yeah is weird to delay just 1 platform. Especially when the xbox360 servers are live and running right now according to the website, and you can log on and buy a 'license' (monthly fee).

Kind of a bummer, I had made plans to play tonight, but at least the delay is minor.

Called Ebgames (where I had it pre-ordered), gamestop, bestbuy, and Target, and nobody (in Chicago) is getting the xbox 360 version today =(

Eb guy on the phone said "it was delayed by Sega" (whatever that means), but should come tomorrow, and that they have the ps2 versions in.

Dvdboxoffice says the same thing. Which sucks, as it takes 1-5 days to get here. I'll probably get it on monday instead of friday, which would've been the case if it shipped today.

Seems that importers are getting a bit of a rough deal now. At the moment, Sega's servers are only accepting U.S. creditcards for the online payment. Looks like EU, Aus and Jp players will have to wait until their servers are up and ready before they can get online.
