GoNintendo has captured images (http://gonintendo.com/?p=7056) of the new Wii themed gift cards coming soon from Target. The cards are thicker than normal gift cards, but glow with a cool, blue light. You have got to see it to believe it.

I'm a sucker for glowing things and put blue cold cathode tubes beneath my furniture for an icy ambient light. I want one of these just to take it apart and see what makes it tick!

I wonder if it stops glowing when you run out of money on it....that would be kind of cool.

Hrmm, when are these due to come out? I have about 3 Targets between my house and work.

Very nice. I've always been impressed with the Target gift cards. I picked up a set of the Marvel ones last year. Last Christmas, I got one Target card that when you press the button, it barks out Jingle Bells.

It still works too.

I must have one, since my budget will not allow me to posess a real wii (or ps3). This will be the next best thing!! Turn out the lights and whip that mother around!!! Hours of fun and enjoyment to be had!!!

I think it was when episode 3 came out Target had the Star Wars gift card where Darths Saber lit up red and it made the saber-on woosh noise. This looks quite classy and i might just have to buy a giftcard and hold onto it til the Wii releases. :-p
