Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com) has a preview of Killer 7 (http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/killer7/p review_6123732.html). They also have video here (http://www.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/killer7/m edia.html).
The visuals all possess a very impressive sheen that's obviously been honed as the game has come together. The cinematics that move the story along are a stylish collection of disparate art styles and narrative techniques that call to mind the spirit of the Animatrix DVD (in a good way, mind you). You won't always know what the hell is going on, but you'll have to appreciate the enthusiasm and downright disturbing imagery flung out there. We confidently say that no one has done or will likely ever do the bizarre things Killer 7 does in its cinematics on the GameCube.
Crazy? Yes. Good crazy?

Utter garbage that no one cares about. No American wants to play some stupid game made by a Jap on Acid. The hype for this has been ridiculous, also. Nintendo Power went so far as to claim that video game critics of the future will look back and define the gaming era in two periods before Killer 7 and after Killer 7.
Yeah right. What the fuck ever. YOU CANT EVEN MOVE AROUND. YOU CAN ONLY GO FORWARDS OR BACKWARDS. WHAT THE HELL.

Well, this american wants to play a "stupid game made my a Jap on Acid." The game sounds very original and I really would like to see and hear more before passing final judgement. I admit that some aspects of the game sound unappealing, but the visual and artistic aspects may be enough to hold me. Rail shooters done well can be very enjoyable (Panzer Dragoon Orta anyone?).

furios wang: you are a complete idiot, i think you migth be the first person that i will put on my ignore list, you are the reason most people hate north-americans.. and the reason movies like XXX make such gross earnings at the box office, try to think before actually open your fucking mouth to say some stupid shit and use the highly offensive slur "jap". Poor fucking shit.. you are as mediocre as it can get.
now all i will see is this: this person has been ignored on your post.. i can assure you fucking asshole.. im not the first one... enjoy being on the bottom.

The capcom 4 had to have been a disappointment to Nintendo. Only one of them was popular, and it was not a good seller.

It looks kind of annoying how the screen "flashes" into different colors each time you shoot.

Killer 7 looks intrigueing still, I wonder if Capcom would make it available with Light Gun support?
Whatever, it looks intrigueing and the sound effects are kind of growing on me. Also Furious Wang is a idiot sheep, who I shall blame for American Idol being a success.
In other words... go back to IGN, your too stupid for here.

I'm skeptical about the game, it looks a little too bizarre for my tastes. I'll probably rent it to check it out, not sure on how it'll play.

So Solly. But Jap on Acid just sounded so much better than Japanese on Acid.
You guys are way too touchy. Especially for non-japs.

I thought I enjoyed Rez quite a bit. And I thought that a lot of people enjoyed Lumines. But thanks to Furious Wang we have learned we were wrong. Thank you for opening my eyes to the truth.

If you ignore assholes, they go away. If not...
I'm not sure I understand the gameplay. According to this preview it's a rail-shooter with a lock-on function. So limited exploration and limited combat? Clearly there's something I'm not getting because it sounds as if the interaction is pretty limited. Even sega-cd games made you do the aiming.

Sweet! I didn't even know there was an ignore list. Furious Wang is the first on my ignore (ignorant?) list. It's too bad the system doesn't ignore quotes of his comments.
On topic - at least the developers are trying something different. I'm all for creative gameplay. I'll probably rent it first tho.

I am interested in this game, but the over-hyping is hurting it a lot. I'd rather buy a game that surprises me in unimaginable ways (MGS2 is a good example) than a game that tries to market itself as a work of post-modern art. You get the feeling that someone is trying too hard to look cool to fit in to whatever crowd.
And I'm pretty certain that this game won't sell much for obvious reasons.

I thought Lumines was made by the frogs.
