It's finaly here, FIFA 07 Demo (http://www.fifa07.ea.com) for the PC has been released.

With the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ over and the joy or heartbreak of missing out fading fast, players such as Ronaldinho, Rooney and Toni have now gone back to their clubs in pursuit of league and cup silverware in EA SPORTS™ FIFA 07.

I believe the X360 version is the one worth waiting for. They said the x360 game engine was completely new. I think the PC version is the same as Xbox/PS2 version with better graphics.

FIFA will always be PES/WE's ugly little sister anyway. PES6 is just around the corner and no real footie/soccer fan would play FIFA instead of that.

By the end of October here in Europe. No word on US release date, but Isn't it usually released i January?
