TheUnknownSoldier sent me word that a demo for Eidos/Avalanche's upcoming sandbox game, Just Cause, is scheduled to be released for PC and Xbox 360 on August 24th.

Also notewirthy is that Just Cause will retail for $39.99 on PC, PS2 and Xbox, with the Xbox 360 version retailing for $49.99! That's more like it!!!

Game looks like it could be good, hopefully the demo shows that to be true. With Eidos you can never be sure...

You can tell the fall is coming, the demo floodgates are starting to open.

Definitely interested in trying it, although since it's a last-gen game being ported to next-gen, it probably won't be worth the extra 10 bucks so I'll just end up Gameflying it.

Here's (www.justcausegame.com) a link to the actual game site if you want to check it out. It actually looks pretty cool. At first I thought "GTA clone" until I saw the guy drive his motorcycle off a mountain cliff in the jungle and deploy his parachute before landing. Cool stuff.
