With independent game developers finding publishing choices harder to find, a new Dallas based company called Wild Hare Entertainment recently announced its preasence and plans to offer game developers a new outlet for retail stores as well as online. FiringSquad got a chance to chat with Wild Hare co-founder and marketing director Andrew Hoolan (http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=11660) to find out more about the company's plans. Here is a snip:
Andrew Hoolan: We have to be able to move forward as an industry as a whole. We as an industry are having growing pains, trying to fit into the business and media of tomorrow...The developer is in the business of creating experiences for the customer and we are in the business of helping them get this done. The fact is that there are several publishers but very few that are willing to have an open mind and be willing to give time to a developer and openly discuss what is best for the game as a whole. Our goal is help these developers reach out and provide the customer an experience that they have created.
