Once again, the Assassin's Creed franchise finds itself without a creative director. Alexandre Amancio, who served in that role on 2011's Assassin's Creed: Revelations (http://www.1up.com/games/xbox360/assassins-creed-revelations/), has left Ubisoft Montreal for a position at a company outside of the games industry.
The news was revealed on the website (http://www.cossette.com/en/blog/2012/01/10/cossette-annonce-l-arrivee-d-un-nouveau-co-chef-de-la-creation-alexandre-amancio/) of Cossette, a Canadian marketing company. Amancio will work alongside Antoine Bécotte as the co-chief creative officer for Cossette's Montreal office. According to MobyGames (http://www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,175932/), Amancio previously worked on Far Cry 2 (http://www.1up.com/games/xbox360/far-cry-2/), another Ubisoft title.
