Meh. They obviously didn't try to hide it, and they never said it was live. I'm okay with a video for something like that just for demonstration purposes.

I think that guy just screwed up, how could he not think everyone would see the VLC control panel? Anyways the best part of this video is the lag at the start of the video playback. AMD fanboys still crying over Bulldozers failure will probably sensationalize this.

I'm enjoying my bulldozer cpu, but it's nowhere near what they hyped it to be. Luckily I don't buy shit based on hype.

Meh - I'm not terribly upset. Presentations need to be controlled where there are very few things that can go wrong. Microsoft/Apple/Sony and countless others have demonstrated this point many times.
Dunno about the Bulldozer CPU... I haven't used AMD since the Socket939 (which is still rockin out with an AGP x800Pro). I like them, but my last couple system have been Intel - I like to mix it up I guess.
The Corei7 2600+ is a beast of a CPU. Stock cooler over lock (from someone who usually doesn't) was simple & running at 4.8Ghz. They did great with this one & I hear the corei5s are quite comparable.
Right now, Intel gets my money. There was a time when I would have punched myself for saying that... And then I grew up a bit & realized you have to have experience on both sides of the fence to not be a douche.

I'm squeezing just over 4ghz out of my FX 4100 that I got for $100 after rebate and it handles shit like a pro, but it's largely due to the fact I'm keeping it nestled in a premium motherboard and fed the mobo exactly which kind of ram it likes.

You have to be a moron to think this wasn't a video. Just look at his movements.
Say you didn't see the VLC Control Bar. Watch his overall movements compared to the screen. They dont line up. He moves the wheel, and the wheels dont move. He is trying to mimic and he sucks at it.

Definitely can't beat that price on the Intel side. I did have more of a budget to work with this time around - but that's not too common.

Who said it wasn't a video?
I am just saying. If he got away with playing the video without anyone noticing the VLC controls. People would have still be like "hmmm something isn't right here"

I think the fack that they even tried to present the idea of this is bad. If you want a game example, E3 demo of Kill zone 2.
