Nintendo of Japan confirmed that there won't be a Nintendo Space World exhibition in Japan this year, the last Space World event was back in year 2000.
Do they really have to keep announcing that there won't be one year after year?

Rabid fans sacrifice innocents bi-monthly in hopes of another Spaceworld. Nintendo has to keep letting them down, lest be infiltrated by the tin-foil hatters who smell a conspiracy and go investigate.

Yeah... at this point I think it's safe to say the only announcement by Nintendo worth making in regards to Space World would be that there's going to be one. I imagine most intelligent folk quit holding their breath for it after 2003 went tits-up.

I used to love Spaceworld. It was Nintendo's own little E3, and being a Nintendo fan, that's like walking into the Nintendo Store.

The one gaming retailer that doesn't find some idiotic excuse to shun Nintendo products.

In related news, Snubber's Amazilicious Super Spunktacular 2006 has again been cancelled, as it has the past 31 years. Look here next year for an announcement about the 2007 show.
