Another quick one from Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.com). They're reporting (http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=66517) that Valve Software is currently working hard to have Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal ready for display to the public at the Leipzig Games Convention. The convention, which runs August 24th-27th, will also be home to a (hopefully new) Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer and playable versions of Test Drive Unlimited and Neverwinter Nights 2. There's also going to be some new Command and Conquer 3 info! (Thanks, Adam Blue)
Can you say "new E3"? Seriously, though, that's some cool stuff coming from this convention. Looking forward to hearing the reactions.

Yeah, the original demo of TD:U has been removed from the marketplace, with a new one to appear shortly. Hopefully this is a sign of reworked gameplay.
Also some new C&C3 information will be revealed at this con. Can't wait for that.

New C&C info? Nice! Got a link for that? If so, I'll add it to the news post.

I remember last year at Leipzig MS announced tons of the 360 stuff. I believe that's where they announced the pricing and packages.

Excellent.
I may go to LGC next year :) if they allow normal public in.

Part of it is open to the public, not sure how much of it is closed to the public though.
Might go next year, if I can find a cheap hotel, should be a 2-3 hour drive.

It was a news story I submitted about two saturdays ago. Hope that helps.

Is it just me or does NWN2 interface look like a what would pass for "good" for some really 3rd rate mmo pet project that is doomed to fail?

You know, I've heard a lot of people complaining about this and hoping it gets some major delays.

This news post is not getting enough love.
Anyway, I'm curious as to what Valve will show at convention. I'm already sold on Episode 2 but I'm actually more excited about Portal than HL2 and, from what I've heard, I'm not alone on this one.
Mind you, when I saw those physics in the extended trailer - Nice! All the more reason to upgrade.
