Even though EA has the PGA locked up for 6 more years, there's still a few good golf games out there. ProStroke Golf looks like it could be one of them. With a first-person over-the-ball view, ProStroke Golf's unique "ProStroke" swing system puts unprecedented control in the player's hands. No longer does the beauty of the perfect golf swing have to be represented by three controller button presses. Players must put their skill, stamina and mental agility to the test in Match Play, against their friends or in the comprehensive career mode.

We have 22 new Screenshots (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15941) for your viewing pleasure. Unfortuantely none of them show the first person view.

Looks about as good as those "next-gen" Tiger Woods screens that EA released.

Golf games are strange creatures, sports games that are actually better than the sport.

No longer? Don't they know that the Tiger Woods games have used the movement of one of the joysticks to simulate the swing instead?

The problem with the Tiger games is that it's only the power really that the joystick swing controls. The ProStroke game, which I've played, gives you control of every aspect of the shot - so if you want spin, draw, fade, lofting, punching etc. it's all down to what you do with the club swing and player weight shifting and not choosing from a menu. Takes about ten minutes to get used to and then feels rather great.
