TomO has linked (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15780) the Pro-G CoH Preview below, but there's also a preview up (http://www.jolt.co.uk/index.php?articleid=6728%94) at Jolt.co.uk.
It’s pretty hard not to be impressed by the things that Company of Heroes is doing, and even the developers seem a little surprised by it sometimes. We’ve seen plenty of World War II RTS games come and go, but with serious mainstream appeal, huge multiplayer potential and a comprehensive offering of mod tools, this one promises to be a game we’ll be talking about for a good while to come. We’ll see you on the beaches come September.
To top it all off, word has been given (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=100694) to watch for the Open Beta to start today (August 3rd, 2006). Note that there is already a closed beta client available for download on Fileplanet, so that's not what you should look for. Look for information about the Open Beta.
Sean Dunn, Senior Creative Manager, and Josh Mosquiera, Relic's lead designer on Company of Heroes, have posted some pictures (http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=100587) from the recently reported (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15735) European press event for Company of Heroes. Check out the Spitfire that flew escort on their DC3!
