The 3rd Dead Rising 'Webisode' is now available on Xbox Live, showing off more of the story for this zombie-themed game. Specifically, fun in the gun store.

Not yet mentioned on Major Nelson's site, possibly overshadowed by the SF2 announcement.

Update: Evil Avatar reader Tricky Thumb points out Episode 4 is available on Live now as well.

It only counts when it is on Xbox Live. After all, this is an Xbox 360 only title. :)

I noticed this went up yesterday morning, which made today the first day in a while they haven't released a new video of this game. What a nice run they had going too :(

Oh no... here we go again. I hope that Reanimated got his nap in today. He was a little bit cranky yesterday

You know, it's sort of annoying to have to go to the living room, turn on the 360, go the market place and download the thing there when I could just, you know, download it now on my PC in half the time with a link ready at my disposal. I guess that would be too convenient for Evil Avatar.

Don't blame us! Blame Reanimated. ;)

(Not really, he usually posts all his good stories here and we love him for it.)

Or, if you'd like to watch video at 720p on your nice big HDTV, you know, some people prefer things that way.

And what has that got to do with giving people both alternatives to choose from? Oh, wait...nothing.

It doesn't. You insinuated noone would want to watch it on their 360 because it's too much of a pain in the proverbial ass. I gave a reason why they would. 'nuff said.

Patience seems to be on short supply around here lately.

Anyhow, I caught this episode yesterday(on my HD) and I thought it was phenomenal. Gave me high hopes beyond gameplay alone.

I assume we haven't heard anything about the demo release yet?

The 3rd Webisode was on Xbox Live yesterday, and the 4th was posted this morning.

the video looks awesome. The graphics are sweet as hell. But the animations are so stiff and repititious. It is just the same as an animation on the PS1. The swing-the-chainsaw-animation just lashes out at the same point in space whether or not anything is there. It is the exact same every time! Can't we at least get a couple so it doesn't make your protagonist look like a robot? Can't we get procedural animation so that if a zombie is slightly to the dude's left he will lash out to the left? Or it will be slightly different based on the guy's foot placement and motion? I just expect more when I am buying system's and games for 600 dollars.

I was voicing my personal preference.

"It's sort of annoying to have to go to the living room, turn on the 360, go the market place and download the thing there when I could just, you know, download it now on my PC in half the time with a link ready at my disposal."

I didn't say:

I'd like to test out if videos are any good before wanting to check them out in HD.
