Mage Knight Apocalypse is an action role-playing game based on the collectible miniature game from WizKids Games. Designed with a unique character leveling system and an unprecedented focus on team play, Mage Knight Apocalypse allows up to five players to embark on a cooperative or competitive journey through a war-torn fantasy setting.

Set in the richly detailed Mage Knight universe, players take on the role of one of five guardians, warriors sworn by oath to seek out the heart of evil plaguing the land and stop it no matter what the cost. Guided by the magical and mysterious race known as the Solonavi, the guardians embark on an epic journey to rescue their world from the hands of an army of pure evil determined to bring about the Apocalypse.Check out 25 new Mage Knight Apocalypse screens (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=35871) over at WorthPlaying.

I don't understand how this game is getting made. Last I heard, after the first couple of sets the popularity of Mage Knight fell through. Don't get me wrong, I like Mage Knight (I started playing in High School) and I like the setting... I just don't understand why you would make a video game based on a failed franchise.

EDIT: Oh, and BTW, the screens look awesome!
