Be interesting to see how the lag is on SF2.

The Descent is a brilliant horror film as well, should be well worth seeing.

If there is lag on SF2? There may be riots.

If anyone is looking for games to play the next 6+ months look no further: Total War motherfucking Eras. It has 3 TW games plus their expansions, a god damn bargain for 60 bucks. Also, if you interested to play _THE_ best (arcade) racing game of the last few years, Flatout 2 is right there.

These would be my picks but since i have both i'll have to go with Jaws Unleashed

Just curious, if it should be worth seeing, how do you know it's brilliant?

I'll probably be seeing it, positive buzz so far, and definitely want to rent V as well, can't believe I missed that one in the theaters.

Well, there is nothing much worth getting on the 360 for a month, apart from XBLA releases.. September should be good though :)

FlatOut 2 has been out a few weeks here in sweden, its excellent - multiplayer is much improved since the first one, now you can play derbys (crash the others out of action) and the minigames as well as the insane racing with up to 8 others (PC).

I don't care what time of the year it is, when the best game on the release list is an XBLA port of a thirteen year old game, something is seriously wrong.

Whoever said there were no good games coming out in August for 360 needs to go find some Dead Rising gameplay videos. That game looks fucking awesome, and it comes out next week!! I'm psyched.

I'll probably be biting the bullet on Street Fighter, only because it's such an awesome game.

The Descent has been out in the UK for a long time now, I even have the DVD right here next to me.

Actually, I didn't know it was out there...And here I thought he was gonna give me the winning lotto numbers :(

V for Vendetta on DVD and The Descent in theaters - a good movie week! Oh, and for those going to see The Descent who've already seen the UK version - prepare for a shock as the ending has been changed! :)

Be interesting to see how the lag is on SF2.

The Descent is a brilliant horror film as well, should be well worth seeing.I think the complaint is that zyzyx claims that the movie is brilliant but should be worth seeing. It's being pretty picky about the phrasing, but I think the replies were picking at the fact that it could sound as if you haven't seen the movie but still know that it is brilliant somehow. Or you could just be suggesting that it should be worth seeing for the rest of us, which I'm pretty sure you were.

Anyway, nothing exciting on the games release this week. No 360 in my doss yet, and no real interest in replaying SF2 anyway.. So, another week of catching up on my backlog of games and probably adding to the list by picking up some of the recent entries into the PS2 greatest hits collection.. Most likely Sly 3.

Street Fighter 2 hands down.

This should hopefully be my last week dealing with ok releases as Dead Rising "should" come out next week.

I wanna play Monkey Ball Adventure pretty badly. I crave monkeys in balls exploring pastel colored worlds. It would make a nice alternative to the "darker" tone of Oblivion. However I will probably just Gamefly it unless it comes out at a value price.

BUT ... you blokes get the Limited Edition tin at no additional charge. so far as I can tell, no US retailers have a Limited Edition SKU for the game.

So who are the luck bar stewards NOW? (BTW, if you say that you couldn't care less about the tin box, buy it and I'll pay for shipping for you to send it over to me --- we can trade cases! ;) )

Wow, this is a pretty damn good month for new toys.

We've got Silent Hill, Inside Man, and V for Vendetta all coming out on DVD. I'm going to have to pull out my xbox for a little Flaout 2 action as I absolutely loved the first one. It was absoutely fantastic online. Dead Rising is of course a no brainer, and possibly Saint's Row as well depending on how the demo seems. And of course last but not least Disgaea 2 at the end of the month.

Of course being that I just bought one of these beauties (http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guitar.asp?model=RG1570&z=y) I may have to start selling myself on the street to afford any of it.

I'm definitely picking this one up. Not so much for the main game, but the party games are always fun to break out with the family. Oh and ebgames is throwing in a small stuffed Aiai, so that seals the deal for me.

hehehe lol.. I will be naturally getting the Limited Edition Tin case at the Standard 360 game price. Although the standard 360 game costs the equivalent of $90 over here in the UK :( so maybe we are still not the Lucky Bar Stewards after all ;)

Okay, so EB and Gamestop say that Mage Knight Apocalypse is still shipping on Tuesday. Is it going to be pushed back tomorrow or what? I've heard nothing to the contrary and was looking forward to picking this up for the co-op multiplayer.
