IGN (http://www.ign.com/) reports that 5 new games (http://gameboy.ign.com/articles/721/721379p1.html) will be added to Nintendo's Gameboy Advance Player's Choice catalogue soon. The games will be:

Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
The Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past/Four Swords
Mario Kart Super Circuit
Pokemon LeafGreen and Pokemon FireRed

These games will become available in October for $19.99 and will join Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Super Mario Advance, and Yoshi's Island already on the list.

All of these games were well received when they initially came out. The classic Mario games are well worth the money for some portable fun, despite of the fact that they're mostly straight ports. Zelda: A Link to the Past is of course great too. If you want some original gaming, get the awesome (and often hilarious) Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga.

Great, now I'll finally be able to find Mario Advance 2. I can find all the others, but just not the one I really want.

I'm glad Nintendo is doing this, but compared to other console makers, they take forever before their titles become player's choice at budget prices. They certainly milk it.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit is definitely worth buying at that price, if you haven't already. It's still my favourite version.

My copy of A Link To the Past is so messed up (For SNES). It loses save files like no other. So many good games....not enough time!

SMW is great on the GBA. I played it for the entire weekend prior to the New SMB launch.

Crap. I wish I'd noticed this when I was at EB today. I'd have picked up Link to the Past. I love that game and sadly, the version I have for my SNES is the french version.

Don't ask.

SMW was good on GBA. Compared to the SNES original, there are new voice samples all over the game, and some new reverb effects added to certain sounds in certain environments. I hate how the color pallette is faded, to compansate for the very dark screened original GBA. This makes SMW look bland on the high quality GBASP2 or GBAMicro screens.

I don't like the changes Nintendo makes to their GBA ports of SNES games. Adding voice samples (Link To The Past, Yoshi's Island), changing overworld maps (Donkey Kong Country), etc.

Hopefully Zelda: The Minnish Cap gets added to this list soon. I can't find that game anywhere.
