While it seems this bit of news has fallen through the cracks, KumaGames has now released the first two episodes (75 and 76) of KumaWar 2, their free stand alone military first person shooter that is now using Valve's Source engine. More info on KumaWar 2 can be found at FiringSquad (http://www.firingsquad.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=11394).

After following a few links you can see that iran is pissed off with them and are making a kumawar type game were your on irans side.
Heh, so when countrys hate each other, instead of going to war they can make games about going to war :D The side with the best game wins, but you cant give your troops force fields, and you cant make them jump more then 2 metres high.
Alternativly you could get politicians from both sides in a sandpit, and they can play with Gi-Joe's.

I can't imagine anybody actually buys this. They must be getting funding from some fringe political party or something.

It's advertising or something.

I made the mistake of downloading the first Source one. It was beyond dreadful. I've yet to see a mod team come up with something that awful, and the Kuma guys are making a living off their work!

The only thing that was memorable about Kuma was how hard it sucked, and I prefer Aversions solution to having several of my friends getting shot at in the desert.
