Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com) has announced Fuzion Frenzy 2 coming to the XBox 360 this Holiday. The game will feature over 40 mini games and have an extensive online mode.Players are able to create their own unique tournaments that can be shared on Xbox Live while building achievement points. Radical themes and characters utilize the visual HD technology of the Xbox 360. Gamers can also use tournament cards that are either won or given out to defeat their opponents in rank, select the next mini-game to be played, or choose their next destination planet.
This could be good, the first one was mildly entertaining...the whole "Building achievement point" thing has my interest peaked!

Heh, me and my buds had a blast with the original. The whole damn game mostly revolved around smashing bugs or spray painting things but it was still a nice change of pace when we were burned out on other games.
FUZIOOOOOOON FRENZYYYYYYY!

An involuntary 'Oh, cool!' came out of my mouth when I saw this. I really liked it, and my kids loved it. Cannot FATHOM how cool it would be to have this for online smackfests.
The original was a nice little xbox launch title. I enjoyed it. If this one is as fun, count me in.

I played the "sumo" game with 3 friends (two guys, two girls) one night.
Strip sumo. Last person off the platform loses an article of clothing. Absolutely worth it.
I can't wait for the sequel. Consoles are PERFECT for "party games".

Yes, this game was awesome for what it was: a party game. This was a star attraction in my college dorm for a long time. I'm surprised they didn't make a sequel earlier.

This game was a blast. It was even more fun with a group of buds all stoned out of your minds. The game became much more of a challenge and an "OH SHIT" fest then.

about freaking time??? microsoft already made the announcment for Fuzion Frenzy 2....a few years ago.....but for the original XBOX.....they touted that it would have over 40 minigames! and XBOX Live online play!!!
although i'm happy that they waited long enough to release it on the 360 instead.......here's hoping all the minigames aren't just clones like in the previous game
oooooooooooooooo i can't wait :)

I too am excited about this game. I cannot tell you how much fun people have had playing the original at my home. People who do not even like games have fun with party games like this one.
I *REALLY* want them to bring back that one game with the roll cages and the circular platform which kept shrinking...

Finally, an online party game. Does anyone know of any others? Im disappointed with the lack of online in Super Monkey Ball and Mario Party hasnt really had a chance given the consoles its been on so far.

Funny, I woke up this morning to "Zack wins" coming from my living room. My 7 year old decided to fire FF and play a bit of "old school gaming" (that's what he called it ;) )

The Xbox party game I usually play with my friends is Kung Fu Chaos. I hope they make a sequel someday.

The first game was fun to play with friends, and the 360 does need some fun party/multiplayer games to enjoy with friends.

Damn, missed your post man. I freakin love kung fu chaos, its like powerstone, but even crazier, and its great with a bunch of friends, and the controls are simplistic enough that even non gamers can get in on the fun.
Don't hold your breath for a sequel, (though I agree, it would be awesome). Just add monsters changed their name to Ninja Theory, and are working on Heavenly Sword for Ps3.
Kung Fu Chaos didn't sell well from what I hear, and Heavenly Sword will probably do quite well, so the odds of a sequel from Ninja Theory are quite low, methinks. But there is the possibility that Microsoft has rights to the I.P., in which case they can go ahead and make a sequel (for live arcade, then it would finally catch on!)

I wonder if they'll sell more minigames on the Marketplace? Instead of updating every year like Mario Party, they can just release a new minigame every couple of weeks.

kung fu chaos soooo deserves a sequal, and XBLA is the perfect place for that to happen!
also, downloadable minigames in the marketplace is THE best idea i've heard in a long time :) fuzion frenzy could last forever!
