I have also noticed a strange phenomena. Liking things with color has surprisingly not caused the appendage between my legs to shrink, not even a little! All you "manly men" can go chew on 20 year old beef jerky and fuck a barbwire fence to prove how tough and masculine you are if you wish. I like things that don't look like they came out of the grim trenches of World War 2. As a matter of fact, anybody that prefers grim drudgery of the darkest things life has to offer (like War) has a pretty fucked up aesthetic sensibility in my opinion.

Definitely early 80's Hard Rock/Metal aesthetic is partly to blame for the dominant en vogue dark aesthetic. But the funny part is when it got merged with Johny Wayne cowboy "rough and tough guy" attitudes. John Wayne could have kicked those 80's bands ass. All of them. At the same time. And he could have done it without wearing a single piece of black clothing.
