Shacknews (http://www.shacknews.com/) has posted their impressions (http://www.shacknews.com/extras/2006/072506_nintendo_cc06_1.x)of the various Nintendo DS titles shown off at the San Diego Comic Con last week. The titles were Star Fox Command, Elite Beat Agents and Mario Hoops 3-on-3.
Starfox looks and sound quite fun, I'll have to add that to my library when it hits the shelves.

I'm most looking forward to FF3 and Castlevania this year, which weren't shown. *le sigh*

So Elite Beat Agents is a totally new game, and not a localization of Ouendan?
...then it looks like I need to pick up both. :D

The Nintendo booth was brilliant at Comic Con. They had it set up so that people could sit around and either play on the demo systems, download demos to their own systems, or just sit around and play multiplayer with each other. I never saw so many ds lites in one location in my life.
Also, because it was so packed, the only game I actually got to play was Elite Beat Agents, which was super fun. The storylines are so crazy and goofy. I think my agents had to babysit a little kid, but he was in the middle of the street. When I screwed up, a big truck would hit him.

Hells yes. Phoenix Wright with more touch sceen action (and not just a GBA port) would rock the house.

I was just thinking the same thing, Pinku. Perhaps I shall have to point my web browser towards Lik Sang this evening ...

 Good god, it's insane. Glorious, but insane.
FF III, Starfox, Mario Hoops, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, MegaMan ZX, Contact, Deep Labyrinth, Elite Beat Agents, Clubhouse Games, and the Opera Browser. I want all eleven of those, they all come out in the next 6 months (as far as I know), and that's without counting the Wii launch.
My wallet weeps. It cringes in fear.
And yet I still want to know where the heck Smash Bros DS is, 'cause I'd buy that too. C'mon Nintendo, get on that. ;)

Will be getting Elite Beat Agents then. They've got Deep Purple so let's hope they stay away from Britney and friends.

Agentgray can attest that Ouendan is awesome. I got my copy from Lik Sang as well.
Elite Beat Agents is a totally new game that uses the Ouendan engine and interface and some of the stylistic elements but the story, characters and songs are all new. I'll definately be all over that.
Starfox looks pretty fun. I'm still eagerly awaiting FF3 though. That, Castlevania and Zelda are the DS titles I'm looking forward to the most this holiday season.
