Load times could really hinder the fun factor in the game, but if the entire game is only split into two or three zones I suppose that's not too horrible.

If this does in fact come out on August 8th...well...that's right before I'm taking a five-day vacation. I'm kinda hoping it rains the whole time and I take my 360 with me.

So, for those of you that own a 360, would the game even look close to these screenshots on a non-HDTV?

I only ask because oddly enough this may be the game I get a 360 for, but there's no way that I could afford an HDTV anytime soon, and that's why I've been holding off.

I am guessing it will. Capcom is usually spot on with their release dates, plus this date has been solid for a good 2 months. If it kept shifting (Painliller Xbox...it was due end of January, and still hasn't come out!) I would be suspicious, but I am betting it will ship on the 8th.

My thoughts exactly. However, since I can't justify the cost involved... can we agree to NOT hype up a game that looks freaking awesome so that I don't have to cry myself to sleep tonight? I mean seriously... this game looks like it could really have potential... and Im so sorry that Im going to miss it...

Hopefully my roomie will splurge when Halo3 comes out and get one so that I can play it. (dead rising)

No, I dont understand why Halo is so popular... and I don't think I ever will... It's been argued over and over again w/ me and the only conclusion I can come to is that I did those things on the PC platform long before I was into console gaming. Great game really... just someone else got to me first (thank you Looking Glass, I miss you dearly).
