If we didn't know any better (and we generally don't), we'd think Cabela's has gone soft on us. A new trailer for Cabela's Survival: Shadows of Katmai (http://www.joystiq.com/game/cabelas-survival-shadows-of-katmai) has all the nasty beasties and ferocious growling that any hunting game should, but it also has a heart -- in the trailer, it appears our hunting hero saves a helpless woman from the dark and cold, um, shadows of Katmai, which is not a fantastical land east of Rivendell (http://www.joystiq.com/2011/08/01/cabelas-hunt-shadows-of-katmai-is-still-a-hunting-game-even-i/).
