Miyamoto shares various Wii secrets in an article (http://wii.ign.com/articles/720/720121p1.html) on IGN (http://wii.ign.com) :

.He let out one bit of information, confirming first if it was okay to reveal it. Nintendo is making a game in which four players play together by passing a single controller around. The controller calls out player names in order to indicate whose turn it is.

....He also suggested another idea, a game where the controller quietly gives out secret information to individual players as their turn comes about.

Well that's just ruled out asylems as a Wii demographic, can't have the controllers talking to the patients, it wouldn't be helpful.

That sounds like a fun idea. But I can't see it being for everyone, but a cool idea nonetheless.

Not exactly a "secret", per se...

This is true. Here I was getting my hopes up about some Wii secret. "Miyamoto Reveales New Wii Game" would be a better title.

Still, sounds interesting. No matter what happens with the "console wars" Nintendo will still be the best for party games it seems :D.

I wonder games that use ideas like this will be in terms of graphics and gameplay like the tittle Wii sports??

So every little idea or musing that Miyamoto throws out there is a 'secret' juicy tidbit?
Methinks sites are grasping at straws now.

I assume this must mean there'll be a headphone jack for the Wiimote. Unless that speaker can be quiet enough so only you can hear it.

Passing around a controller? If that has to be done quickly, you better have some extra wiimotes on hand to replace the inevitable broken one.

Track, I assume the game would ask you to put the speaker to your ear so it could whisper to you. This is a very original and cool idea for a party game.

Or how about a survival horror game that has the option of listening to ghosts for puzzle clues.

This is my living room. I'm not allowed to go near the Nintendo Wii...that's where I saw the controller. It tells me to burn things...

Uh, I never denied it was original or cool. I was just pointing out it'd probably need/be better with a headset, which CAN be made, since the Wiimote can have any type of add-on.
