Wow, looks great although this quote makes me a little uneasy:
"He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past."
Please don't fuck this up EA.

Seconded.
I think it's looking pretty nice, myself.

The textures look good but the models look pretty low poly.

Uh, are those troops a story high or what?

Uh, are those troops a story high or what?1) They're probably wearing bulky exoskeletons.
2) Since when have C&C troops been even remotely proportional to buildings?

I really hope Kain returns.

I've been looking forward to a proper update of the Tiberium-based C&C universe for a while. I wasn't very impressed with Tiberium Sun, but I loved Generals. The color pallet in those screens looks kind of, eh... brown, but what can you expect from a war-torn post-apocalyptic land I guess. =] The lighting and water effects look pretty damn sweet tho.

I think they are unimpressive. The perspective shown is not very good for RTS games. Generals was fun, but it didn't really feel like a C&C game to me. I haven't read the previews, (I dont read previews), but how is this going to be better than dawn of war?

That's a question that cannot be answered untill the game comes out.

After having so much fun with Generals, I can't wait for this game to be released :D

I'm definately looking forward to this. I need some new RTS games... But they'll all have to step aside for Supreme Commander.

I don't normally do this, but QFT. I keep watching the trailer for it, and it gets me going every time.
I have to say though, C&C 3 is rather exciting as well. I'd like to echo the hopes above that EA won't mess this one up.

TIME TRAVEL!!!1
Wasn't that exclusive to the Red Alert storyline?

Why's that quote make you uneasy. That's a direct quote from George Orwell's "1984". It makes me even more excited personally.

Vehicle designs look sweet, but I always liked the vehicle designed in the C&C games. Even if they're aren't very "diffrent" or unique. And the environment looks exactly as it should considering the nature of Tiberium.
Love those new Orca designs. At least I think that's what they're suppose to be.

Why? That was also tossed around during the Red Alert series. I think Kane's character even says it.
Generals, a fun RTS, but a poor C&C game. I really hope EA does some good with this, but this is no Dawn of War, you don't control points for resources, you gather resources. Kind of hard to explain, but being an RTS-er, games like Dawn of War and C&C play very different. Same reason in DoW you have a unti cap(shitty), and you build in squads rather than individually. Like in Act of War, not only do you harvest gold, but you capture P.O.W.'s.
AoW added some awesome strategy that if absent from C&C3, I won't be able to get into it.

I wonder how much of the C&C style will be changed to make a 360 port more feasible?

From what I REMEMBER, C&C64 wasn't that bad. But hell, that was a while ago.
Really, I don't even want to think about it.

Please please please be a C&C game in the Tiberium universe. The cast of characters from Tiberium Dawn and Tiberian Sun were what made me love the game more than the gameplay itself. If they do something in the Generals vein, I'll pass. I want a proper finale to the Tiberium trilogy (and I want Kain back).

Well the quote makes me think of time travel, and time travel is Red Alert's domain.

That quote is from Kane quoting 1984 in the very first game. He's talking about propaganda and mind control.
Can't tell much by the screenshots yet. Could be a C&C sequel, or it could be a Generals sequel. I'm hoping for the former, but expecting the latter.
Generals was fun, but the rock paper scissors approach became really tiring after...well...a shit ton of play. Also, it needed some balancing.
No one is going to touch Supreme Commander for years. That game...it makes me drool. I've been playing TA, prepping myself for it.

Is it? I thought they hadn't included the Tiberium part in it..
Oh, wait, it was that it wasn't called Tiberian Twilight... that's what stuck in my craw... my green, glowing, mutated craw...

If Kane was coming back wouldnt they list it on his name via www.imdb.com if he was playing Kane ?I don't see C&C 3 on IMDB at all. IMDB's a pretty horrible source for game info, anyway.
EA's official announcement (http://www.ea.com/official/cc/firstdecade/us/news.jsp?src=CC3_Tiberium_Wars) has this to say about Tiberium Wars:
... Kane, the megalomaniacal leader of The Brotherhood of NOD has other plans for Earth. Kane's secret society turned superpower is bent on using Tiberium to take control and transform humanity into his twisted vision of the future.

Oh man, I hope they go back to FMVs. That was unintentionally the best part of the game! Although, since EAs heading it up, I highly doubt it. Did Generals even have a story.
